Buffalo Grove High School's 2020 Class Board will sponsor its 7ht annual Daddy-Daughter Dance for area 3 year-old - 6th grade girls and their dads on Saturday, March 24 from 6:30-9:30 p.m. in the school's gymnasium. Proceeds will help fund activities and events for the class, including Prom and Senior Day. WEATHER ALERT: Due to predicted extreme weather conditions, all after-school activities and events occurring after 6 p.m. Tuesday, February 5, 2019 are canceled. Activity buses still will run as scheduled.
All District 214 after-school events and activities will run tonight (Monday, 1/28/19). Students will not be penalized if they cannot make a practice or contest. All Community Education classes will run as scheduled. The Young Adult Program also will run as scheduled this evening.
The Buffalo Grove High School Theater Arts Program is pleased to present their 2018 Winter Play, Michael Frayn’s Noises Off, which the New York Post declares “The funniest farce ever written!” This delightful play takes the stage on Friday & Saturday, December 14 & 15 at 7:00pm. An outstanding student has been selected from each academic division at Buffalo Grove High School to be honored as the April Student of the Month.
Buffalo Grove High School English teacher, Ami E. Relf, was selected among hundreds of applying teachers to study Alabama's Legacy in the Civil Rights Movement for 3 weeks in Birmingham, Selma, Tuskegee, and Montgomery. Ms. Relf is one of only 30 NEH Summer Scholars from a competitive, national applicant pool to attend NEH’s Summer Institute Stony Road We Trod, Exploring Alabama’s Civil Rights Legacy, from July 8, 2018 – July 28, 2018.
