BGHS AP Documents

Advanced Placement (AP) Tests are offered for students who have pursued college-level AP courses. Certain score levels on tests may allow students to receive advanced placement and/or credit upon entering college. The AP test is created by the College Board.

Target Population:  Students enrolled in AP courses (optional).  Fee:  approximately $91 for each test

Dates:  May 2-13, 2016 (Application deadline is approximately March 1, 2016.  Contact the Assessment Center at your high school for specific deadline dates.)

Location: Forest View Educational Center, Building A for most high school students.
Prospect and Rolling Meadows High School students will test at their own high school.

Cash or Check (Payable to Buffalo Grove High School)

Students requesting the following must use a paper registration form:

  • Accommodations
  • Financial assistance
  • Two exams scheduled at the same time

Refund Policy: 
The AP Program charges for exams ordered but not used.  Therefore, a fee of $25 will be deducted from the refund of each test a student does not take.  Students must notify the Assessment Center by April 15 if they are requesting a refund. All refunds will be processed in late June.
