Buffalo Grove Instrumental Association (BGIA)

Welcome to the BGIA page. This site provides information on BGIA events, fund raiser schedules, and policies. All families who have students in Buffalo Grove bands are members of the BGIA. There is no membership fee. The BGIA supports the band program by: providing communication on band activities to the families, arranging fund raisers for the band students for significant band activities, and performing various activities as requested by the band director such as providing assistance at marching band events.

Vienna Student Visit:

Each year, a group of students from the Landstrasser Gymnasium in Vienna, Austria stay with BGHS band and orchestra host families for a period of 10 days to two weeks. BGIA fundraising activities help to support this unforgettable experience. The next student visit will be in September.
