  1. Are you looking to turn your "Despacito" obsession into something you can actually use on a college application?  Do you like learning about other cultures and sharing about your own.  Do languages, holidays and food interest you?  If you answered yes or "hmm....maybe!" to any of those questions, Spanish club is for you!  It doesn't matter if you're a native speaker or not even taking Spanish class, we welcome all new members!  Come see what we're all about and help us plan next year's events at our first meeting on THURSDAY, JUNE 1ST at 2:55 in room D206.  See Sra. ONGOING ANNOUNCEMENTS

  1. Attention all Boys Tennis Players:  There will be an End of the Year Party and Uniform Turn-In today after school.  If the weather is nice, meet at the Tennis Courts, bad weather, meet in the Cafeteria.  See Coach Naughton or Coach Brooks if you have any questions.
  2. Please remember that all Library materials must be returned or paid for prior to semester exams.
  3. Senior obligations have been posted on the Main Office window.  If your ID# is listed it means that you have an outstanding obligation that must be cleared before June 1 or you will not receive graduation tickets.   Please see Mrs. Igyarto in the Main Office or check your Infinite Campus portal for the amount owed.  Payment can be made in the Main Office with cash, MasterCard, Visa, or Discover cards.
  4. Attention Boys Soccer players:  There will be an informational meeting tomorrow right after school in the Community Room.   Summer camp and tryout information will be discussed.  If you are unable to attend, please contact Coach Abel.

  1. Be sure to completely empty your locker by the end of the day on June 9th.  Return all textbooks to your teachers.  Return all library books to the library.  After June 9th, and during the summer, you will not have access to your locker.  Anything left in the lockers over the summer will be disposed of.
  2. Friday, May 26 is the last day for Athletic bus runs.  The 5:45 buses will no longer be running for the remainder of the school year.  Starting Tuesday, May 30,  there will not be any Athletic buses.  Please plan accordingly.
  3. The Girls Swimming and Diving Team is having a preseason meeting for NEW and Returning athletes, Thursday at 6:30 PM in the Community Room.  If you can not make the meeting, see either Coach Mroz in CTE or Coach Manos in SSFL.  Swimming and Diving is a no cut sport for Freshmen, Sophomores and Juniors. Get involved, get active, be elevated!  Join Swimming and Diving!
  4. Calling all heavy metal fans.  Mr. DiMatteo is researching interest for a Heavy Metal Club to start next year. Music, discussion of the latest trends and sounds in Metal, making new friends, and just hanging out for a time after school. If you are interested at all, please come to room C206 after school on Tuesday, May 30 for a short informational and interest meeting! Hope to see you there. THROW YOUR HORNS UP!

  1. Attention girls interested in playing golf next fall:  There will be an informational meeting this Thursday at 8:10 am in the Community Room.  If you cannot attend, please see or email Mr. Myers for more information.
  2. Seniors are expected to meet all school obligations (financial obligations, library fines, and the return of textbooks, library books, athletic equipment, athletic uniforms, iPads, etc.) by the end of the day on May 30.  To avoid misunderstanding and confusion, items should not be left randomly on desks, in classrooms, PE areas, or lockers.  Students returning items late should return them to a staff member and ask for a receipt.  Any seniors with outstanding obligations on June 2 will not receive tickets to graduation until their obligation has been satisfied.
  3. If you are on the 4 or 7 semester honor roll list or were notified that you were receiving an award at the Principal’s Awards Ceremony but were unable to attend, please see your counselor to pick up your award.
  4. All final exams must be completed in order for students to participate in both the graduation rehearsal and the commencement ceremony.  The Senior Final Exam Schedule begins Friday, May 26 for English/Fine Arts, World Language/Social Studies/ELL, and Physical Education classes.  Day 2 is Tuesday, May 30 for Math/Science and Career and Technical Education classes.
  5. Friday is the last day to sign up for Senior Day.  In order to attend Senior Breakfast and Senior Day you must purchase a ticket. Tickets can be purchased in the Main Office.

Attention all Freshmen and Sophomores:  If you did not find a place to call home this year at BGHS, we might be what you're looking for.  The Tech Crew does everything for our Theatre Program.  We're having an end of the year meeting today after school to talk about this past year as well as planning for next year.
