NEW ANNOUNCEMENTS

  1. Are you interested in shaping the environmental future of our school? Then join the green side! Ecology Coordinating Committee, BG's environmental club, will have it's first meeting on Wednesday September 27th after school in room A211. All are welcome to attend - see Ms. Ronge in math/science if you have any questions.
  2. GSA meeting today at 3:20 pm in room C216.
  3. Speech meeting Tuesday and Thursday at 3:20 in the English/Fine Arts Resource department.

If you want to vote in future elections, you will have to register to vote first.  The League of Women Voters will be coming to BG during the lunch periods on Tuesday, September 26th to register you to vote.  You can register to vote if you are 17 or 18 years old.  To register to vote, you will need to provide either a Driver's License number or the last 4-digits of your social security number.  Get registered so you can begin to voice your opinion on what matters!  See Mr. Crandall or Mrs. Meyer in the Social Science Division if you have any questions.

  1. Tomorrow’s dress up theme for the Homecoming spirit week is “Home of The Free”. Wear your red, white and blue and show some patriotic pride! Don’t forget, identically twinning with a friend gets you an extra spirit link!
  2. Apple has released iOS 11 today.  At this time, please DO NOT update your ipads.

  1. The Speech team will meet today at 3:20 in the English/Fine Arts area. We will be discussing event assignments, so attendance is important.
  2. Attention all students. The first Greek club meeting will be held after school today in the CTE resource area. It will be a quick informational meeting.  Everyone is welcome.  See you there!
  3. Come to South Asian Students Club a.k.a. SAS on Monday, September 25 after school in A178 regardless of your ethnicity.   We will eat food, discuss South Asian cultures and have fun!  See Mrs. McCleish in English/Fine Arts with any questions.
  4. Homecoming is days away!  Tickets will be sold at all the lunch hours.  Prices are  $17 for a single ticket and $34 for a couples ticket.  There is no place like HOMECOMING!

  2. Homecoming spirit isn’t stopping for the day off. Tomorrow’s theme is “Stay at Home.” You still have the opportunity to earn spirit links for your grade by participating in the twitter contest. Tweet a picture of yourself dressed in your pajamas to @stuco_bghs with the hashtag #stayathome along with your grade level to win spirit links.  For Friday, the theme will be “Home Is Where the Bison Roam." Wear either a BG uniform, T-Shirt, or lots orange and blue and show your BG spirit!  And as always, the homies challenge is still available to get extra spirit links!
