The program also announced 72 students from District 214’s six comprehensive high schools received Commended Scholars status and three were also named National Hispanic Recognition Program Scholars.

  • BGHS Offers Saturday School Help To Support Students

    Saturday School is a service provided by Buffalo Grove High School to help students raise a grade, make up missing work due to absences, or just find a quiet place to complete work. Students can access the building using Door #1 by the Theater. A small selection of BG staff and National Honor Society tutors are available at Saturday School. Though help at the honors and AP level is not always available, Saturday School can provide an environment for collaboration, guidance, and support.

  • Coleman Foundation Grant Funds District 214 Entrepreneur Incubator Labs

    The District 214 Education Foundation recently received a $100,000 grant from The Coleman Foundation to transform classrooms into innovative laboratories with an entrepreneurial environment. The grant helped to redesign three classroom spaces to enhance learning for nearly 6,200 students at John Hersey, Rolling Meadows and Buffalo Grove high schools during the 2015-2016 school year.
