    Buffalo Grove and Prospect High School’s Theater Arts Programs present a humorous theatrical competition for this year’s Winter Play with Comedy Sportz High School League. Students from Buffalo Grove and Prospect High Schools will participate and compete against each other at each of the performances, which take place on Friday, December 1 and Saturday, December 2 at 7pm at Prospect High School; and Friday, December 8 and Saturday, December 9 at 7pm at Buffalo Grove High School.

  • District 214 Among Area Schools to Participate in 17th Annual Latino Summit

    Thirteen northwest suburban schools, including seven District 214 schools, will participate in the Annual Latino Summit, to be held at Harper College on Friday, Nov. 17. More than 300 Latino high school students will participate in the 17th anniversary event at Harper College, which will include students from Buffalo Grove, Elk Grove, John Hersey, Rolling Meadows, Wheeling, Vanguard, and Newcomer Center Schools.

    It’s time for a blast from the past for Arlington High School graduates. An open house for all alumni will be held Saturday, September 23 from 10-3 p.m. The event will take place at the former Arlington High School building, now Christian Liberty Academy, 502 Euclid Avenue in Arlington Heights. The nostalgic trip home will feature an alumni band, The Cardinals, playing hits from the 1960s through 1984 to commemorate the year Arlington closed its doors.
