NEW ANNOUNCEMENTS

1. Attention to ALL students looking for leadership opportunities!!  Join our Freshman Advisory Leadership Program!  Informational meetings will be held on Tuesday, May 14th from 7:00am - 7:15am and 3:00pm - 3:15pm in room A211.  If you cannot attend either meeting and are still interested, see Ms. Konkel in the M/S Resource Room.

1. Attention all girls interested in playing volleyball next fall.  There will be an informational meeting on Tuesday, May 14th in the Community Room at 3:00.  Please see Coach Priban if you will be unable to attend.
2. ECC is collecting all types of shoes in all sizes for its annual shoe drive.  Please deposit shoes in the box located in the library until May 22.  This collection will benefit the Pacific Garden Mission, a homeless shelter in Chicago.

1. On Friday, May 10th, Kaitlyn Ko qualified for the IHSA Girls State Track Meet by running under the state qualifying time at the IHSA Girls Sectional Meet in the 3200 Meter Run.  Kaitlyn also earned a 5th place Medal in the 1600 Meter Run.
2. Congrats to badminton team who took 12th place at the state tourney.  julie Jambrone and Mary Zawlocki took home a 6th place state medal.  Mady Berns and Madison Fortman ended up in 9th place.
3. Come out and support all the performers in the dance classes and Ochesis this Friday, May 17 during all lunch hours.  The performances will start 10 minutes into the hour in the main gym.
4. Please do not bring food or drink into the gym and seating is limited so be on time!  Thanks and enjoy the show!!!
5. There is a Latino Club meeting today after school in room C102.

1. Clinics and Auditions for the Expressions Show Choir begin this Monday at 5:00pm in the BG Cafeteria.  Please see Ms. Utley with any questions.  See you Monday!!
   
2. Auditions for The Expressions Band will be held at 3:00pm on Tuesday, May 21 in the Choir Room.  Please see Ms. Utley with any questions and to pick up audition music.  We hope to see you there!!
3. All Senior Teachers please meet Mr. Siegal in the cafeteria during your lunch period today to discuss Senior Teach Day plans.
4. Attention BG!  Finals are just around the corner.  Are you having trouble getting ready?  Could you use some help?  Our Saturday School tutors are waiting… Let us help you at Saturday School, this Saturday, May 18th, from 8:30 to 11:30am in the BGHS library (use Entrance 1 by the theater).
5. See your teacher if you would like to have work or make-up tests left for you.  Any questions?  Contact your teacher, counselor, Ms. Pecoraro, or Mr. French.
6. Seniors, all library materials are due TODAY!  Please see a member of the library staff if you need to check something out overnight.
7. Juniors, you can pick up your spirit wear today and tomorrow during lunch hours in the cafeteria.  Please see Ms. Pecoraro if you have any questions
8. Attention all Female Athletes interested in Swimming or Diving next fall, come to an informational meeting in C108 after school this Tuesday, May 21.  Even if you are just "thinking about it" or never been on a swim/dive team before, GET INVOLVED AT BG and come check us out.

2. Hey Freshmen!  Spirit Wear is due tomorrow.  Please turn in all orders to Ms. Justiniano in Student Services.

Prom is right around the corner and you don't want to miss it!  Come buy your tickets this Saturday, May 11th from 8 to 10:30 am.  Lottery tickets will be available at 6:45 am.  Please check your school email for more details about this year's Prom, Midnight in Paris.  Any questions?  See Ms. Pecoraro in Student Services.
