Free Ways to Serve the Community
Buffalo Grove High School's very active Student Council has planned the school's Service Week schedule for March 15-19, with the theme of "free ways to serve the community." Prairie State Achievement Examination
On April 28 and 29, 2010, all juniors in the state of Illinois will take the mandatory state test, the Prairie State Achievement Examination. The PSAE is made up of an ACT Plus Writing test, a state developed science test and two WorkKeys tests. The ACT portion will be administered on April 28. This test is provided by the state, so there is no charge; however, it does count as a reportable ACT score for college admissions. Educational Travel Opportunity
The Social Studies, World Language and English Language Learner programs are offering an educational travel opportunity for the class of 2011. This hands on primary source rich learning experience of a lifetime will be during Spring Break of 2011. The 10 day trip will take students to Paris, France and Madrid, Spain with all travel, hotels, 2 meals per day, all museums, guided tours and travel while on the trip included.
