School Security

To better protect students, staff, and visitors, a credential exchange program will be implemented at all District 214 buildings during school hours. All visitors will be required to present a valid driver’s license or another government issued photo I.D. in exchange for a visitor’s badge. Your driver’s license will be scanned into a visitor management system, which screens for registered sex offenders. Community Education to Launch Age-Group Swim Program

District 214 Community Education is about to make a big splash this fall as plans are finalized for launching an exciting age-group swim program, WHAM Aquatics. WHAM Aquatics will serve four age groups: Dynamos for 8 and under, Chargers for 9 and 10, Turbos for 11 and 12, and Power, 13 through high school age. The fall season will run from September 20 – February 20. A Spring Break to Remember

Whether your student’s goal is building a college resume, putting to use their BGHS classwork, seeing the world or having a Spring Break experience that will build a lifetime of memories, there is still time for a limited number of Junior and Senior students to register for the Spring Break Trip to Paris and Madrid.
